Other than boxing, no sport has fallen off harder than college hoops

Nah college bball is still fun to watch and it has one of the goat gambling times of the year. Much more physical brand of basketball because of the officiating.

Its not just them I hear a lot of older black folk say that too.

But yeah college hoops is :flabbynsick:, I wish the NBA would just step on their necks and let players declare at 18, expand the D League, and let teams have European-style academies for teen players
I actually think College Basketball could be an ally to the NBA. Allowing players to blossom into stars in college and then go into the NBA and create more excitement in the market they play for + jersey sales

As it stands now, nobody knows most of these dudes up until NBA Draft season

With that being said, College Basketball is garbage now. These dudes going to the same 3-4 teams + one and done killed it. It's a shame to because I loved it as a kid.

barton was to small and lacked pedigree to slide over effectively and fully.
that is why he did not pan, out fully just yet.

the reason they don't should not stay longer is the nba pro game is just continuation of the college game and does not change in the low iq gen era.
so, the more they apply themselves in all facets stereotypically.
with a cognitive edge they could pan out,...
yet, they don't need to stay longer in college because those players played to long and showed mostly what they could do and are easier to figure out as pro's.
all because the longer you stay as a pedigree'd ncaa player.
the more it is thought of you really lacked the extraordinaire it factor.
to be in the nba, and lacked the next level thing.
to just at best be a healthy possible body.
whose upside was at best, that of.
the journey man and competent pro, with a typical pro career and numbers.

which could possibly be acquired without draft pedigree.
thus, possibly being a low ticket item priced player.
making more wiggle room and profit for owner and the fo.

i think barton's problem was moreso him getting drafted to Portland, which was already stacked with guards.

whenever they let him on the floor, he produced. and now you see hes having an all-star caliber year in Denver.

i see what youre saying tho. he was always a question mark for me coming out of Memphis because of that.

Cruisin’
And cacs always say college basketball is better than the NBA :dahell:
I hate when they say that crap. How?!? A bunch of children jacking up shots early in a 30sec shot clock is better than the NBA? :dahell:

The only good games are the ones in which NC teams play in, and the 1 or 2 other schools in each powerhouse conference because those teams actually play like NBA teams, and run NBA plays. Outside of March Madness, college basketball is tough to sitdown and watch.
