Good episode but what is the point of the excess of gay scenes in this show? I know we're gonna see some dike sh*t cause of the female prision but why was old boy and his pops in a gay bathhouse Why couldn't they just be in a regular bath house. That was totally unnecessary

I feel pretty much like I did at the end of season 1. Great drama, back stories, but the flaws really hurt it from being considered great. Piper character is beyond white privlege. She's pretty much Zach Morris without the big phone and the ability to stop time. Though I wouldn't be surprised in season 3 if she did. Everything she wants she gets.

Vee pretty much pulled a Lebron and carried this season. She played the role to the core. Taking advantage of all of these women with their need of a mother. And stepping in with a "loving" caring encouraging spirit. Kinda reminded me "House of Cards" where Kev and his wife just seemed like geniune nice people. But in reality just snakes. Didn't know the game but she had her instincts and came up like Stansfield Organization in a matter of months. But the "family love" flashback scene :

How do you have her go out like that. Such a wack demise for all that work she did. Escaped and you have that old woman hit her. Hopefully she ain't dead. Can't build up her character like that and just kill her off

PEnntusky sp? - For wrestling fans they basically CM Punked her character. She was Piper nemesis and after what happened in season 1 just turned her into a shell of herself. They took her character and ruined it. She was the main villian for Piper

Preggo chick and boyfriend- Nobody that's dumb to make the decision he did at the end. Yeah, I know she called a "p" but come on. It would make sense for him to wait to get out and just start a new life.

Jason- Simp of the year.

Tastee- Her character was def. more likeable but acting is still one of the worst. I llke background story though.

Her bad skills just ruined the potential conflict between her and the bald black lesbian. Emotions weren't there from her end.

The other fat black chick (Black Cindy)- worst actress in the whole series. Just annoying.

c00n Eyes- No doubt her acting skills are superb. And could be argued just skills wise she's the best. But end scene pretty much sums up her existence.

Rupaul- Wasn't featured as much. Very happy. Though the continued with the riduculous belief of a fake woman telling real women how to be real women.

So So-yes, she looks good. So let's get that out of the way. But other then that. Her character was annoying. No way would be survive with that personality. That "Hunger Games" stuff took up way too much time. Don't care about that hippy stuff.

Plot wise, it should been between Vee and the Latinas. Not Vee and the old white people. Wouldn't been way more interesting then the Grumpy Old Women, imo.

Why was Mendoza (sp?) smiling in the last scene? Wasn't her only revenge was having Vee stash taken? If not, what else was she smiling about? Because she didn't knew she escaped did she? Or was that a setup. No way would she know that Vee was gonna get hurt or killed in the last scene.

Lastly, Piper's brother. Who in the world would be that selfish to do what he did at church? Nobody hates their parents that much during that time.

The ending was kinda bleh but the season was cool. Vee vs Red was cool but someone should shanked Vee something serious. Piper is just naive white woman. She should seen the film flam from a mile away. Alex deserves whatever coming to her. From day 1 she has been controlling and pushing Pipes. And the way her ex and her best friend just kinda fall in love and ask for her blessing. Kinda crazy. In real life, she marries her fiancé when she gets out. I hope they don't spin it to some L word shyt.

Typical Jenji, now Piper had some balls and wants to play big bad wolf to survive.

I'm also intrigued by Morello, Taystee/Vee, and Gloria's backstory. Just sucks that Gloria's was in Spanish with no subtitles.

I liked how this season didn't focus on Piper all that much and mainly focused on the other inmates which IMO made the show more interesting.

I loved the ending to the last episode..pretty much was the perfect way to end it IMO.

Overall I see this series going 1 more season cuz Piper does have 8 more months left. So they could just wrap it all up next year.

Pretty decent season. Burned thru it real quick just like season 1. I wont post any spoilers like a few of yall did tho since its only a few days in.

No crazy action overall, but tensions are medium to high almost all season. lots of wild shyt going on. Caputo had one hell of a 2nd day at work

Just finished watching the second season. Marathoned it over two nights. It was another impressive season for the program and for netflix.

While both seasons had their respective strengths...I feel like season 1 just barely edges it out. Mainly because Piper is more prominent to the main storyline. I personally just prefer the main character to be more central to the overarching arch. I've heard that many people feel the exact opposite though...many seemed to dislike how Piper always seemed to find her way into the middle of things in the first season. I'm probably alone in this critique.

I understand why some prefer the ensemble angle...but I feel like things move more smoothly when your main character is that central figure. Piper feels...kinda irrelevant to the prison in this season. That's probably more realistic, but I didn't get the "page turner" "what's going to happen to Pipeeeeeeer?!?!?!?!" aspect that the first season had and that leaves it feeling a little less focused on a whole. It's give and take, positives and negatives to either angle, but I did prefer the season 1 focus a tad more.

I probably need more time to digest everything. Might change my mind on that later. That's just my initial reaction.

Still though, excellent work.

This might just be the racist in me....but for as evil as Vee was....I'm kinda mad that the black women were so damn unorganized before her appearance and the fact that they seem to have completely conceded any sort of hustle within the prison now. Vee should have stuck with cigarettes, they had a great thing going but she had to be evil. I just hate seeing my people being incompetent and getting flexed on, even if it's fictional....

Still though, to reiterate, Vee was at fault. This is a WOMEN'S PRISON bytch, she was on here on some OZ type of shyt....

I am SOOOOOOO OVER the Daya/Bennett storyline. Always been my least interested storyline, and it unfortunately seems to be one of the more important arcs from the show-runners perspective. I just personally don't really care what happens to them.

Mendez only came back for a short time....but he did his thang in that time period, SHOT!

Lorna Morello had my favorite character progression this season. Man oh man did that pay off, I never even saw it coming. While I thought it was pretty obvious that she was never going to have that wedding, it was a fun surprise to find out that she was a crazy fukking bytch. I thought she was naive after season 1, turns out she's a psycho.

Polly/Larry....not really relevant. Polly's titties weren't nice enough to make up for their screen time. I'll take more of her brother and hippie sister in law over those two.

She was smiling because she considered Vee's disappearance to be a result of her Santeria/Voodoo candles and magic working. Remember how they went through with all those rituals? I'm assuming that she took satisfaction in her magic "getting rid of evil" as she said it would.[/quote]
