Recently finished this. Thought the second season was a real step down from the first. The ending really solidified it for me though. The only highlight of this season were the back stories.
just finished season 2. can't remember enough to comment on season one to make a comparison, but piper is one entitled bytch.

My Soundtrack is the second “Carter”
Season 2 was a real step down from season 1. Season 1 was very well written and paced. Season 2 felt like a damn comedy. Hopefully season 3 goes back to form.
I actually think the decision to give equal focus on the other jailmates rather then piper was it's downfall. The show needs a main character and the others need to support her. This show doesn't need 8 main characters.
Also the lack of Alex didn't help either.

just binge watched the 1st 2 seasons.
2nd season was better than the 1st imo. because they started focusing more on other characters and less on piper.
V was the best character and they killed her

Vee is pure evil, but kinda hate how she made damn near all of them bow down. Smh at how RJ died
Morello would make a great Harley Quinn imo
Glad there was less focus on Piper and Alex, i could give 2 shyts about their relationship. Piper still trying to justify cheating on Larry and then gets mad when he fukked someone AFTER they broke up
Daya has got to be one of the most selfish chicks ever. First it was she wanted ol boy to openly declare his love for her regardless of the trouble they BOTH would get into just because she was tired of keeping it a secret. Then after her planned backfired and he got it back on track and Pornstache practically did what she wanted (public declaration of love) all of a sudden she gets a guilty concious and wants to confess. (Sidebar: her momma aint shyt)

Finishing up, I really love this show and am annoyed I waited to get to it. Smartly written, funny, sad and they wrote the women as complex characters.
