I honestly thought jamison and meeks would be solid additions. They arent the first that come to mind when you think of young and athletic but i thought they were alot better than mcroberts, kapono, and murphy.

Lakers Front Office also cut our best shooter off the bench.

But yeah, the front office deserves zero blame. :rudy:

Glock nikka.

I'mma list our bench players the last few years:

Kapono
Sasha
Meeks
Shannon Brown
Glock
Troy Murphy
Farmar
Mbenga
Josh Powell
Matt Barnes
Jamison
Ebanks
Earl Clark
Glock
Darius Morris
Walton
Morrison

I'm probably missing more but out of those guys I wanted Barnes back but he didn't want to come back here so that was out of our hands.

Odom was another situation that was out of our hands at the time.

Everybody else is interchangeable, some of those cats ain't even in the NBA anymore.

fukking Glock wasn't gonna make any difference on this season, especially with the way our dumbass coach uses his rotations

McRoberts was never a decent back up big for the Lakers. I wanted CDR but he ain't doing shyt right now so :manny:

Gerald Green we fukked up on him but you can go around the league and look at GM's that cut guys and they end up being decent.

Despite all that last year Mitch traded two of our most :flabbynsick: players for Jordan Hill and Ramon Sessions. Our starter Earl Clark came back in the Dwight trade.

Anyone trynna put this on Mitch is stupid
What you wanna hear about big numbers from these guys? :what: They're role players breh.. that's one thing that Laker fans forget about--- ROLE PLAYERS. they were good coming off the bench for some minutes to defend, rebound, supply some energy, run, and just maybe knock down a jumper or two. That's it, no they are not name brand dudes. Hill was a bust, but he got on the Lakers and discovered his role and ran with it. cause really all the Shots and Headlines are for Kobe, Dwight, Nash and Pau.. or at least that's the way its supposed to be

I never said anything about big numbers.

McRoberts was part of the trade that brought back Earl Clark.

Was Mitch supposed to hold up the Dwight trade because he wanted McRoberts still? :wtf:

With the emergence of Jordan Hill McRoberts wasn't gonna have PT anyway.

But to give your front office credit, who really cares about a bench when you have the starting lineup yall have? I've seen teams with far worse starters and bench players win championships. Who can name 3 players on the bench from any of those Rocket teams off the top of the dome?

Our bench is better than what is was last year though, and you can only judge season to season.

Last year: Steve Blake, Jordan Hill, Darius Morris, Devin Ebanks, Matt Barnes, Christian Eyenga, Andrew Goudelock, Josh McRoberts, and Troy Murphy

This year: Steve Blake, Jordan Hill, Darius Morris, Devin Ebanks, Antawn Jamison, Jodie Meeks, Earl Clark, Chris Duhon, and Robert Sacre

How can you even START to blame Mitch?

He also traded for the best Center in the NBA in his prime AND a HOF PG which was an upgrade over what we had last year.....in the same offseason.

For real, regardless of who the coach is, this team should be good enough to go 41-41 off of pure talent alone.

Mitch did his job and isnt to blame at all.
