I just installed Sonoma on my old 2015 maxed out macbook pro. Which last new OS was Monterey in 2012
shyt runs like a charm.
I got my M2 but I figured what the heck I might try it in the 2015 macbook pro since I don’t use it like that anymore(besides for installing Switch downloaded games on my switch for some reason shyt doesn’t work with my M2)
Had I didn’t get a M2 I probably could’ve used the 2015 one more.
I might do it for my 2012 mac mini too(just use it as a NAS server for plex and infuse)
