Fellas, put your training courses on your resume too. Go to the local community college or IT training center and take a course.
Certs are cool to help you get a job, but you'll never get rich work for someone else. Unless it's some hedgefund type job. I've been in the IT game since the 90s bruh. I'm starting to look at the big picture. There's a ceiling to this. There's a lot of old ITs making like 85 forever. In competition with these young ITs. Tough racket I tell you. I've saved a lot, I'm going to try my hand at some else. All else fails, I'll be back in IT.
