Brehs I has a question.

I'm currently doing noc work for my uncles VOIP company. I'm not certified shyt is like an intership I get paid peanuts. Should I keep at it? I get to learn while on the job and I'm about to have 2 years experience in july. I can probably lie and say I got three. I plan to get certed up in about 6 months. It's really stressful though because I'm sacrificing getting paid decently now in hopes of making big money later. I find myself doing lots of stuff on the side to make ends meet... is it all worth it brehs?

Was also thinking about finishing my degree after the certs and joining the USAF and take this telecom shyt to the next level on some edward snowden shyt 250K/yr + bonus. Was gonna post this in the cert thread but dont know if it's still active.

any thoughts my certed up brehs?

thats the route i wish i had went. what dental school though??
im lookin at ucla or something bruh, or I might go back to michigan. Been thinking bout this for about 2 years, I mean school ain't hard for me anymore. U still have time fam, its maybe 8 years. 4 years (bachelors) then dental school (4 years). then internship is maybe 1 year after that.

The only problem im having is I'm not a six figga member, school loans ended up becoming twice what it was. I'm glad I ain't married or anything, some girls attach themselves to dental school students. Thats why dudes don't pay off their loans until their 50s, that's when dentists make their real money (by then they pay off mortage, kids, wife, student loans).

u gotta do it fam, i believe in u
edit: im lookin at medical school too

Are there any prerequisites for certs or can you just choose the basic ones and go from there? Should I take computer courses first or they teach you what you need? I'm not far from an associates stopped going to school few years back. trying to see what this all about.

Imagine having 100 Certs on the resume :ohhh:
100 certifications would be wrong.
You want to have your certs focused on one or three areas. If you want to be a Java programmer with certs, you get certs in Java programming and related technologies. If you want to be a network engineer, you get certs related to networking and network related technology. If you get 100 certs, you would not be able to answer questions about all 100 certs in a job interview unless you were some genius.

Guess I'm gonna look into this. My art degree from 1998 is useless in real world now, if I ever have to switch gigs.... it's more of career experience now. 15 years. But shyt I'm young gotta keep learning.
