This thread is taking a strange turn lol... I don't get why people are urging y'all to get with single moms anyway, like if you not with it, then your not with it. Some of you guys have some fukked up stories and experiences and even have histories of dating a lot of em--I just don't get why you kept dating women with kids anyway? Was it just so commonplace to meet women with kids?
I honestly don't get why a young guy that is childless would do it anyway, let alone if she has multiple kids. And not necesssrily because the moms aren't good people, but it's just a lot of work. One of my cousins has three kids and got married to some guy in the Air Force, and I love her to death but her kids were bad as hell(like Bebe kids lol). the guy was a real stand up dude--he had so much patience.
But people really shaming you to date a single mom--I don't understand why they are, irl, I never hear about this happening. I'm 30 though so maybe since I'm older it's more expected for men and women to have kids.

Yes I'm used to stay in a small southern town so if you're not in a relationship people look at you like a weirdo. So you're encouraged to go after a woman, any type of woman. As long as you are in a relationship thats the only thing that matters

Here’s the thing though, idc if the next man dates single moms. But I will never personally do it. I dont got shyt against him he can do what he wants. I honestly don't know a ton of single moms, but of the ones I do every single one of them got wifed up. You'd be surprised at how easy it is, too. If not for this forum I wouldn't have ever known that men weren't marrying single moms or having relationships with them, because it just isn't what my experiences have been or what I've seen all. Then again I guess y'all refer to those men as simps. Lol.

I know a ton...grew up in the hood... u are right they still get wifed up cuz its been normalized. Esp in the hood...but go talk those 1st gen immigrant communities and ask them how they feel about dating single parents...LOL. Id advise neither men or women to wife up single parents...but its been pushed and normalized to the point men/women just say fukk it..esp single motherhood.
Funny thing is not only do some single moms try to pressure young men but older men, on some “I settled so u might as well too”. I can see if an older cat settled with a woman with 1 kid and the baby daddy was dead ...or he had kids of his own. But alotta these old fools such as @NoChillJones were childless when they got hitched with a BM and encourage young, stable men with no kids to wife up single mothers as a first choice. Thats cuz they dont want to look stupid and be the only one doing it.
