Not sure if they still do it but Morehouse and Spelman use to give automatic admission and money to any body who got over a 1200
Like 6 dudes from my HS got in that way (including me), I remember thinking that was a low barrier for such an elite HBCU since they use to act like the avg SAT at a place like UPENN was 1400

So who's failing these black children—especially the boys?
SAT is more about Test prep than education. Sort of like how a 4.0 gpa student can still fail their MCAT. Doesn't say anything about your education. Just how well you prepared for that particular test.
An realistically it takes money to be prepared properly for those type of exams. You can be the brightest student in your class but if your parents can't afford to enroll you in SAT prep courses online or with a tutor, you will be a disadvantage.

It’s culture. Overly stimulated. You can get on TikTok right now and see 100000 knuckleheads dancing in school hallways, clowning etc. It makes you wonder why the obsession with fitting in, this also leads to the preoccupation with the opposite sex.
Which is funny considering black male online spaces are disproportionately concerned with whether a broad can cook or not and nothing about education/business
Our culture does not do a good job of prioritizing education. We just don't. I mean it is what it is.

Quality of schools plays a role but I'd suspect that white scores are higher for students who go to the same school as black students. Based on those numbers. I'd be curious what the scores for higher income black children are as well.
Are Asian children inherently smarter than everyone, or is this a direct correlation to parenting styles and who takes school more seriously. It's clearly the latter. Asian kids aren't being shuffled from one sport to another like white or black kids. Their parents are almost certainly more engaged with teachers, up to date on score tests, and demanding strict study hours daily.
I hope brehs realize...this is not sustainable. We are literally training ourselves to be a permanent underclass.
