What a disgusting take. Kendrick? Future? Rocky?
It's funny how drake fans live in their own world............you should be talking about what these 3 rappers did for Drake's credibility and career.

Drake should be thankful Kendrick and Weeknd were on TC, cuz the only good songs on that album are from them.
Drake should be thankful he crossed Future's path, cuz he never got played in the club before that.

Drake definitely helped those rappers gain mainstream (White) followings. Anyone denying this didn't spend time around young white people socially.

Drake “gave” them a look. And he did it because they were already sure things. He didn’t do it out of the generosity of his heart and he didn’t do it because he’s some proponent of Hip Hop culture. It was mutually beneficial as it helped give Drake credibility and also helped align them with him so they’d never challenge him. That solo song on Take Care that Drake fans harp on was an interlude that consisted of Kendrick talking about the first time he met Drake. Its entire purpose was to big Drake up, not allow Kendrick to get his shyt off like Jay used to do for Memphis Bleek during the Hard Knock Life era. THATS why Drake was so pissed off about the Control verse, because he thought he had Kendrick safely in pocket and Kendrick said “fukk that”. Kendrick understood that he was going to be great without being under Drake’s thumb. Just like Weeknd understood and i’m sure Asap understood. Kendrick, Future, Weeknd, Asap, Cole and Migos are the artists that if Drake never collaborated with them would’ve always been what they became. Their careers were going to be just fine without him and like I said before they already proved it. The entire point of this thread was that Drake helped “put on” rappers which is bullshyt considering most of these rappers were already “Put On” before Drake swopped in to capitalize. Kendrick was signed to a major. Asap was signed to a major. Future was signed to a major.
bro u got it. Lol. It's literally impossible for u to be objective bout this nikka. Lol

This is true.
Kendrick's buzz had nothing to do with Drake.
However, like Joe Budden said, Kendrick gave Drake the best track on Take Care, helped Drake again on fukkin problem by having the only quotable of the entire song, and gave Drake's free exposure with this beef.

Drake better give Kendrick extra $$$ for what he did for him.
Ur fukking insane. Lol. Kendrick had prolly the worst verse on fukkin Problem.

Thats how you personally feel, and even if I disagree, I'm not gonna try to change your mind. But that doesn't change the fact kendrick had the only quotable on the entire song. When that song came out, Kendrick's verse was basically NLU...people were only rapping along his verse, they were having fun during his verse, and only kendrick's part was being quoted on social media.

If it wasn't for Kendrick's verse, the song would have never become a hit. That's a fact.

This is not what Drake said about that song...and it is not how it came out lmfao.

Also, you're describing Drake perfectly.
Don't get it twisted, Drake is the one being widely known as an opportunist and exploiter...
U gotta watch for dudes like you, betcha you gonna keep trying to manipulate facts and rewrite history uhhh

"Kendrick chose to write that verse"

Dumbass. Go watch these 2011/12 Drake interviews and edit your post so you can appear a bit more educated on the topics you talk about.

You're wasting your time with a bunch of groupies that clearly have some IQ problems and their only argument will be you're not objective because they objectively can't dismiss this. All you said is well documented but Drake fans gotta be Drake fans.
