Here's why this subject is confusing

Its almost impossible for DNA to have formed on its own in a puddle

So I'd agree that there was something "on purpose" about its appearance on the planet. Not like a big ass finger pointed down from the sky, more like the entire purpose of elementary particles was to organize into more complex ones. Like the dirt itself knew what to do.

But also, life has been developing via evolution in a pretty mundane way. Countless small changes over long periods of time.

I don't think G-d is some humanoid who molds people out of clay, but the Universe IS made of consciousness. And its developing as planned.
