well Harbs delegated everything on defense to Fangio and basically didnt bother the man and let him do his thing. Not every offensive-oriented HC is willing to do that. Youre right about leadership, although I think this does backfire because when Harbs teams start losing, theres a lot of tensions (but then this happens for most of the losing teams). Beli didnt really bring his 'way' until the Pats job, people forget that he wasnt a success at HC, he had 1 winning season in Cleveland after being an amazing DC. And Pete was the guy he replaced who also didnt quite bring winning culture to a stacked team. Different coaches succeed differently imo. there really isnt a pattern.
