Not surprised, because the Bills roster is not unlike the 49ers of a couple of years ago. He still sucks at passing the ball.

Roman is a beast in calling run plays shytty in everything else, including going away from calling run plays when they're working.

I thought he did an excellent job with Tyrod too. If he doesnt go down for two games they are probably in the playoffs.

it took him two years tho...and honestly this year bengals are way better because of their defense. I remember last year that offense was trash, dalton was awful and people were saying marvin and hue were getting fired

I hope hue made a lot of changes and it worked is the reason why they changed it around, but I still have my reservations.

I dont mind hue, but there are some concerns if we go with a game-by-game basis.

True. But watching their games this year, he displayed a lot of creativity and got a lot of players involved. Night and day compared to the Chryst. That's what I'd be most excited about if he came here; the offensive creativity.

We need a new OL definitely. But Kaep is garbage. Gabbert played better with a garbage line. I'd like to see what he can do with a better one. Draft a QB in the mid rounds this year.

Last year they actually did go after some good candidates. Nobody wanted the job.

Gabbert was headed in that direction too, took 25 sacks in 8 games... granted both Kap and Gabbert held onto the ball too long on several occasions

but Gabbert took 40 sacks his rookie year, we all saw what happened to Alex Smith under a shyt OL in the beginning of his career, the older Carr broke the record for sacks taken in his rookie season... and there's plenty more examples of young QBs not even given a chance because how could they adjust to the pros when they're constantly under pressure???

my point is, even if we got Goff or Lynch they would be ruined behind this OL

Kilgore can't stay/get healthy, Tiller is subpar but looked good because he was far superior to Devey. I think AD comes back strong (read somewhere today that pointed out how Incognitio came back with a career year after taking a year off).

I'd rather us go all out on OL this year, and try to get a franchise QB next off-season

Tunsil would be a dream, I think we could plug him in at LG right away and then eventually move him to LT whenever Staley retires. If Alex Mack is available in FA he should be at the top of our wishlist behind Wilkerson. I'd also go after Andre Smith and stick him at RG. Then worse-case scenario our run game is on point and we can roll with a game manager like Gabbert

It still blows my mind that every 9er fan the world last summer was screaming for us to sign Mathis (with plenty of cap space for him) and move Boone to RT, and instead we rolled with Devey/Pears
