Until he files for reinstatement the Niners can't do anything
I know that breh. I should have said when he files for it. I know there's a contract issue and money will be owed but what's the contingency plan for when he files for it

In retrospect this was a good sensible draft in my opinion. We got a lot of guys who barring some unforseen disaster can contribute if not this season the next season or so.

Deforest Buckner is the sensible choice at 7. He can be part of a new generation of d linemen moving forward. He and armstead are a lot alike and are long rangy strong players that will pressure opposing QBs and are the building blocks of a great defense.

Joshua Garnett may be a bit of a reach but not one I feel uncomfortable with. He is very much in the mold of Iupati. A very nasty run blocker but with the length to be a solid pass blocker. Of the video I've seen of him he needs to clean up his feet and improve his footwork. He tends to pass block using length and strength. Can't do that in the NFL. That can be coached away.

Will Redmond I see as a boom or bust pick. Depending on how his acl heals moving forward. That being said he is an ideal knickelback for our defense and a speedy special teams player.

Rashard Robinson could be the Honey badger of draft. Despite being a fukkup in LSU if he can clean his act up in San Fran this kid could be a starter he has length and strength things you can't coach. He's worth the risk.

John theus is kind of a steal. He can be a backup tackle all he has to do is stay in the weight room. He had really good technique and did solid against good competition.

Fahn cooper is the opposite. Real strong and tough but has bad technique. In see him as more of a guard. Very good run blocker though .

Jeff Driskel is a project qb but one that fits chip Kelly's system. In some fairness we've done a decent job picking up these guys as many of our late round qbs contribute elsewhere if not here. I'm willing to wait and see.

Kevin Taylor. I would love to see Fred Taylors son join our team. The kid had football speed great vision and is a willing blocker. I think he needs to put on a little weight but I think this is a sleeper pick.

Aaron Burbridge is a big strong receiver but not fast. I wonder if he is willing to be a short throw wide receiver because that's all I see him as and I think deandre smelter has more upside. But its still a sensible pick.

Prince Charles iworah is an interesting prospect. He seems a bit small to be an NFL corner but he looks compact. He has enough raw athleticism to be a potential special teams player.

I really like that we loaded up upfront and even though we picked 2 iffy corners Im ok with that because of the upside.

Any other holes can be addressed in free agency.

That's assuming he ever files for it.

Colin Kaepernick resumes throwing

The draft came and went without a trade sending quarterback Colin Kaepernick away from the 49ers and the Broncos said they’re no longer interested in one, which makes it pretty likely that Kaepernick will remain with the team for the 2016 season.

With that out of the way, the big question around Kaepernick switches from where he will be playing to whether he will be on the field for the 49ers once the season gets underway. Kaepernick will not be able to make his best pitch for the job until he’s cleared after offseason shoulder, knee and thumb surgeries. He took a step toward that last week when he got on the field during minicamp to shadow the team’s other quarterbacks and another one this week.

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that Kaepernick has resumed throwing a “bit” as he progresses toward a full return to action. Full clearance for Kaepernick isn’t expected until closer to the end of the month.
