Im fine with that non-signing. if we got into bidding war with snyder wed prolly have to offer him around 18-19 m/year if not more, and ton of guaranteed guap

like Ive said, I wouldnt have a problem paying this to a well-established top corner like Revis/Sherm but Norman has some question marks.

draft is #1 priority. josh norman was a 5th round pick. I dont care much about FA because best players are those who are young and cheap. if we hit on draft picks Im willing to let go being dormant in FA

We really shouldn't have had to get into a bidding war though. Obviously I don't know his reasoning or what we offered, but I have a hard time believing if we offered 15 m/year Norman wouldn't have taken it. Said he loves the area, is OK with Chip and the rebuild, and would be playing against easier WRs. I feel like all else equal, he would have signed with us. :yeshrug:

I agree with draft being number 1 priority, but we could have kickstarted the turnaround with Osemele and Norman. Even with those two contracts we'd be 5th in the league in cap space. Now we're relying on Baalke's spotty drafting skills to find talent in the later rounds, meanwhile we got 50 mil in the bank :francis:

I'm done with Baalke :upsetfavre:

Ill take any talk from FAs with a grain off salt. Skins are a better team than we are, and are in a weak division. And from reports Ive read, Snyder wasnt letting him go.

:manny: thats another question- as a pessimist, yeah I can see baalke fukkin it up again.

if we are to become good tho, we need to hit on draft picks and luck out with 'low risk high reward' FA like in 2011...not simply sign a players for a lot of money.
