We went to the championship game the next year though while Baltimore fell off a cliff. Baltimore still has their coach and some of their key players. We canned the coach after an 8-8 season...players "retired". When you look at how our team got dismantled vs Baltimore, completely different.

You guys better hope Kelly doesn't pick Goff. Goff is too physically and technically similar to Sam Bradford in Kelly's scheme (which is too fast to call audibles); he'll fail similar to the way Bradford did.

What just happened to Denver is normal turnover. Losing Cowboy, Iupati, Gore and Crab would have been normal turnover. But to lose Aldon, Willis, Borland, and AD as well was unprecedented. So is losing your entire coaching staff in a single offseason one season after going to the NFCCG. That's not just quick, it's fatal. Also we didn't lose guys whose contracts were up or were in their twilight like most teams do after winning, we lost prime year blue chip talent to shock retirements. We didn't just have a single promising coach raided like most teams do after winning, we had the entire coaching staff gone. And it was self-inflicted.
