I'm sure that quote was part of a mouthful of sentences, since it came from a radio interview. It could have been something like.
Interviewer: Any idea of what you'd like to do with the offense, based on current personnel? Have you had a chance to evaluate?
Norv: Well, obviously we're going to put some things in the works to run the offense through Adrian. We have some pretty good receivers in Jennings, who brings a veteran presence, and Cordarrelle Patterson, who has shown some flashes as a rookie. I heard that Matt Cassell opted out, so as far as quarterbacks on roster, I'm in the early stages of watching tape, Ponder does an awful lot of good things. I've had numerous conversations with Rick, and if we make any moves in Free Agency or the draft, those evaluations will continue. But I'm excited to get comfortable and rolling here.
Just taking that snippet makes it seem like Norv woke up, got out of bed, watched Ponder tape and sent out a tweet. Never know what it means in context, plus, he's not going to openly shyt on anyone on the roster a week into the job either.
