I took it as him just rattling off names not tryna send a message. Just my take.

He probably was, but when you say "its glaring" the team is missing one or two pieces and that it will be dealt with over the summer, the Nets are capped out so there's only one way for them to get those pieces.

So if its only via trades, then people are going to notice when he names certain guys as part of the core and he mentions Temple (who's a 7th/8th man at best) but not Allen or Harris or Prince.

We pretty much knew this summer is going to re-shape this team again, but he didn't need to spell it out and start naming names in January

I mean with Kyrie I can’t even try to guess what his intentions were but I just took it as him rambling some names with no intent to throw shade at the people he left off.

That said, I’m the fro better be part of our future plans or ima be pissed. No way we get back fair value for him in a trade.

“I reached out to make sure nothing was taken out of context — making sure that the guys knew exactly what I meant,” Irving said. “And that is the only thing that matters. Everyone can say, if I was in this position, ‘I would’ve said this, I would’ve done this.’ They have have no idea because they’ve never been at this level, so how could you even comment on it?”

“The most important thing is making sure these guys — they have the belief in themselves and I continue to reiterate that confidence we have as a team. It is going to come down to that in order to be at a championship level to compete against the West, we need more. It is what it is.”

And that's all that matters

Prior to Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, NetsDaily had a brief sit down with Allen, who had very little to say about the whole thing.

“It was whatever,” said Allen. “What do I expect him to do, name the whole team? That’s really the only comment I have on that.”

Irving reiterated at practice on Friday that he had spoken to the players on the team and had told them that he didn’t mean to single anybody out. Again, namely Allen and Harris. Allen explained how Irving spoke to him and that all is well between the two.

“We talked about it. He ended up saying everything is fine, so no bad blood.”

Anyways, trying to right the ship against the Bucks wasn't going to work. Going to have to get back in the grove against Philly

Taurean Prince's best attribute is his $12.5 million salary, which will be great trade filler next year

Anyways, Bucks were always gonna kill us. We're not good right now, but with Kyrie back I'm at least confident we'll beat bad teams again.

Claxton again showing out, but he'll just get thrown back to the G League when DJ is back because Kenny doesn't go off script

Tauren Prince is trending on twitter by those of us who watched the actual game.

your Boston mind who didnt post throughout the game, saw the final score and focused on Kyrie

On Fire my Brotha. At least you were a .500 team with him out. You only beat the Lowly Hawks since he been back.
