Now there's a heel turn on Kyrie for his comments? Even when before he got hurt, there were glaring holes on that roster. Not being able to play for two months and sit back to analyze allows you to see what areas need to be improved first hand. The few times I posted in this thread, I said that. Outside of DJ, they have no bigs. JA is soft and unskilled.

KD is the missing piece. Kyrie ain’t a number 1 option. Kd immediately makes them the favorites in the east even without kyrie.

He doesn't without Kyrie. That team is filled with guys who don't know their role or aren't willing to fall back.

Na. Ceiling with Russell isn't higher than the one with KD and Kyrie.

Lol forget KD for a second, the ceiling with just Russell isn't higher than just Kyrie. Look how good of a job D'lo is doing leading the Warriors to the worst record in the league. He's their top guy, getting all the shots he wants until the summer when they move him. Not looking up numbers rn but I bet with the exception of Dinwiddie, you can make the argument the roster production is pretty similar. Draymond ain't doing shyt.

They forget Caris was our best player before the injury last year when they try to rewrite history that D'lo carried, Caris hasn't looked anything like that player the whole season. Not sure if the adjustment is bigger playing next to Kyrie but even if that's the case he's not even as aggressive looking to shoot.

Yep. Dinwiddie's level of play before Kyrie's return inflates some things but if you could take him off the roster and compare the Kyrieless Nets and the 17 games D'angelo missed you're looking at deep lottery teams no matter how you slice it. Caris missed time and hasn't looked great when he playing, Joe hasn't contributed anything, Prince is a disappointment, DJ is a shell, and outside of flashes JA doesn't have it. The coaching is sub par and the bench is lacking.

So if Russell had been here instead of Kyrie the same thing would've happened. Our PG is on the shelf and Spence would've played himself into the starting line up the same way. So at best you're talking about a wash, and that's only if you ignore Kyrie's higher ceiling on offense.

Seems like fans from other teams want to pitty us for some reason, it's only by proxy bc you don't like Kyrie for whatever reason before he got here. We're fine and we'll be even better next season.
