Not sure how I feel about OKC 2.0 in Brooklyn :patrice:

The franchise is obviously headed in a different direction than we were 2-3 years ago which is why things feel different. I was in love with that homegrown culture the Nets built but I’m still excited how far this team can ascend.

:lupe:More and more, Im starting to feel like maybe this was the plan all along lowkey.

farm and acquire homegrown young talent however long it takes, and exchange for the finished product once weve developed enough assets.

This does indeed feel weird.... I rather liked our blend of sheer depth and youth. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing how our full squad gets busy... but adding Harden would turn us into a full-fledged monster overnight. Is this the way we wanted it to happen though?

Yeah you can say it was the plan all along, but something about it feels cheap. Especially since we didn't even see how Kyrie and KD fit together on the court. I personally don't think we're getting Harden though, I don't see him leaving Houston this year.

Could be a bluff by Harden to try and force Houston to give him more help.... but if Houston is really offering him, I think you gotta do it.

Brehs I’d this happens I’m gonna be torn. I rooted for Levert Allen and others since they were pups.

but you gotta trade for Harden. Especially if you can get Covington or Tucker back.

I pray they can keep Claxto but I doubt it.

Now only question is what vet minimums can we fill out the roster with?

Kyrie
Harris
Harden
KD
Jordan

the shooting is godly.

I was giving Musa one more season but he showed little to no improvement.

I looked Bruce Brown up....I dont remember him doing this but he gave us 22 last season :dahell:

Apparently he’s a defense first guard with an improving 3pt shot and some playmaking ability. Could fit in where Nwaba left off :ehh:

KP had us on his list to be traded to
Jimmy had us on his list
KD and Kyrie willinglycame here

Now we got Harden trying to force his way here :wow:

We have come a lonnnngg wayy in a very short time from signing Outlaw, Farmer, Petro and the no picks Billy King days

Players come and go but the rep your organization has carries over and is a lot harder to get rid of. This org's rep has been slowly built basically from ashes to get to this point. Mostly everyone that came here left happy, that little stuff adds up. The Scola's of the world going around talking about how great of a time he had leads to the big fishes taking notice eventually.

Didn't even tank for it either, wouldn't matter if they did, no picks lol.

KD, Kyrie, Harden all wanting to be here is nice, but the foundation is set for to be a factor after they hang em up and that's the most important part of this. I can only think of GS/TOR coming out of nowhere with strong organizations the same way.

It’s pretty clear Harden and his folks are forcing their way out now..the only question is will other teams be willing to trade for him considering he has 3 years left on his deal. Even if he says Brooklyn only I could easily see a team putting together a package and going for it anyway

Yep..Front office and ownership have done a great job

Those famous Scola words rung true - "Once they win, they will get everyone they want.”
