Michael Beasley is a Net
that’s wassup...it’s a KD signing but I’m glad to see breh back in the league
Michael Beasley is a Net
I really like these joints. Mad flavor
People gassing Holiday up as well. If you going to get rid of assets for soneone(considering one of the things that made the Nets great was quality depth) would be someone like Harden but I’m not sure of the fit either. Same thing with Beal.Am I the only one that doenst want Jrue Holiday or Beal or any of these names being floated?
Why cant we just run our full squad and see how we play?
I see the argument for both sides but every time the topic comes up people talk about not trading depth. I'm operating under the thought that ring chasers have either us or the Lakers on speed dial, so I'm not bothered if a trade does happen. Besides, here's our "depth":
Allen
Musa
Prince
Clax
Spence
Temple
There's not much quality there imo. Rumor is Marks is declining Temple's club option so you might can take him off. And don't forget Joe needs to be paid and Choizza's a FA. I didn't add Caris to that list again because he's too close to Kyrie/KD to get traded at this point, so that leaves Spencer who could opt out and be a starter somewhere else after next season and Allen who might want Capela money. That's gonna be an easy no from me.
I have no issue at all if Marks decides to cash in now versus waiting to the deadline when they're worth even less. If superstars values decline the closer you get to the trade deadline, then it doesn't make too much sense holding on to those guys either.
Folks can't see the forest for the trees with this too though, it's dope to have this number of options and still come out a contender either way. I don't see it with Jrue but we keep coming up for a reason, so if Marks keeps going for it then whatever. I'm good either way we go.
Kevin Durant has been recruiting close friend Serge Ibaka to join the Brooklyn Nets as a free agent, according to league sources.
Durant and Ibaka forged a strong relationship while playing together in Oklahoma City. But the veteran Ibaka, who made $23.3 million last season, would have to take a significant discount to join the Nets.
“We’re very close, he’s like my brother,” Ibaka said of Durant earlier this year to Fansided.
The depth that will be lost in a trade for a star are the next best players after Kyrie (Caris, Spencer, Allen) . There's no way we pull off a trade with Prince and just one of those three.
They dont have enough value by themselves to fetch anyone worthwhile. Stranger things have happened tho
We just need a 4 imo....its rumored KD is recruiting Serge who fits perfectly...
To me if we add Serge, resign Joe and get another wing off the bench we'll be solid.
I don't think any of the rumored targets would take all 3. Like if Caris were on the block him + Allen + couple 1sts should be enough or they shouldn't be interested. And that might be a little too much for Jrue/Beal, you have a team with KD/Kyrie so those guys wouldn't have the ball enough to be worth 20-50 mil more than what Caris does.
Two starting caliber guards and an average young starting big is the framework for a superstar Anthony Davis deal, so I'd be disappointed if Sean's entertaining that.
I think Serge stays in Toronto but I wouldn't be against him coming. If Nash wasn't blowing smoke imagine the spacing of a lineup with Joe, Caris, Kyrie, Serge, and KD at the 5.
