Thank God it's Nash and not Kidd. Kidd was the better player but Nash is a better person.
Wanted Vaughn to get the job but glad he's still with the squad. We have security if Nash fails.

I'm glad he addressed the elephant in the room. Very "Nash-like" answer, I don't think another candidate would've been able to answer the same way.
He didn't deserve that reaction or the organization for that matter, especially since they hired Kidd the moment his plane touched the ground following retirement. But it's a convo that needs to happen and publicly so people can be held accountable, if this is what it had to take then so be it, but good on Steve for understanding.
Thought it was interesting he said he and KD never talked about the position.
No idea what to expect since Nash has no body of work and Vaughn's time basically doesn't count, but if everyone's fine in their roles then fukk it. Let's go.

This was a pretty good podcast with KD and JJ Reddikk..I knew KD was a basketball head but damn.......he discusses schemes with JJ, good defensive players, media his decision to come to us (same old story) ...long but good...Now i get the Nash hire and why Kenny is gone.
He basically shytted on Kennys guard the 3 and drop back and pack the paint and give up open mid range..that was Kennys main scheme we all used to shyt on him for.
