It only sold 94,000 first week but every where I looked it said that it's certified gold or sold 500. Not too many official looking places though. RIAA doesn't have a list of all gold certified albums available online, though to my knowledge. If you know of such a list, you can find it yourself. BTW, I'm not trying to argue in Jeezy's defense, just posting what I could find on the subject. And it does seem that Cold Summer did indeed go gold.

As for Gibbs vs. Meek, Gibbs' 2 best attributes over Meek are that he's a better storyteller and that he can put together a better cohesive project (Meek's gonna get a major label chance at this). Unfortunately, Gibbs' drawbacks are what you kinda need to succeed in hip-hop and Meek has that.

As for Meek vs. Gibbs, Meek is more youth orientated while Gibbs is more geared towards fans 25 and up that can remember when hiphop was good. Meek caters more to the swag generation as opposed to the substance generation.
