Knicks fans ain't as bad as bulls fans....and let's be honest,teams that get Jason Kidd do win...they ain't gettin no damn ring but I could see em out the 1st round.

I dig what your saying, I just think that when you have a pick & roll PG and PF but then u have a SF who likes to take people off the dribble it doesn't mesh well.

Not only does Melo hold the rock but the other players don't move around to get open once he gets the ball.

I would love for all this to work out but forgive me if my optimism is gone, IM not going off paper anymore...I need to see it first. (this is coming from a dude who swore Eddy Curry was gonna be an all-star when we got him)

But that's why you pick up players like Jason Kidd... People don't realize that in reality. Isolation plays account for less than 20% of plays on a team like the Knicks... of course other teams would be even less.

It's just about having a balance.... iso ball isn't the ONLY ball the Knicks play. What happens is you have a bunch of people who would either sit around and watch, or just don't make the shot... so who was left to take it?

When the plays that aren't iso plays become more productive and efficient, everything will fix itself.

For example...

Pierce plays Iso ball.... KG plays pick and roll. It worked
Kobe plays Iso ball... Pau plays pick and roll. It worked
Nowitzki played Iso ball... Chandler played pick and roll. It worked

And all of them made it work differently... But it can work

Now can Mike Woodson make it work... Who knows. But we'll see

What it is is that fans of other teams think it's "sexy" for their team to have a rivalry with the Knicks. I've seen random ass fans running up in Knick threads over the years tryna talk junk. Like, mufukka San Antonio is in the west...GTFOHWTBS. Why you even care what the Knicks are doing? ATL fans be tryna get in. We don't even have playoff history with yall. Go THAT way. NYK got 3 legit rivals. MIA, IND, and CHI. And those are only beginning to rekindle.

Baron Davis? We were hoping he would become his old self... but it wasn't happening
Toney Douglas? Pardon me I had to laugh at that

Then Melo, Amare, and Chandler all got hurt during the season....

The Knicks weren't doing much last year.... and we all knew it when Lin and Amare went down, reducing the chances of them figuring out how it was all gonna come together. We were just in denial. Hoping that they could magically work together with no time, ailing players, and underperforming role players.
