Skills wise they weren't that far apart but it felt like Malice had more personality and range. Would have liked to see him doing solo work.

Because Push leveled up big time on Hell hath No Fury and has given 10+ years of solid solo material. No Malice has dropped a wholeeeeeee lot less music by comparison.

To be fair. Malice was out rapping Pusha all through the We Got It For Cheap series as well. People was still sweating Pusha back then but I always felt Malice was better and had more substance to his bars.

Just like when people see Andre 3000 getting too much praise someone says “Big Boi was better anyway” Malice was very good and I always considered him and Push as equals but he hopped out the game and Pusha kept grindin (no pun intended) which is why I give Pusha the edge personally but if you feel Malice was better that’s fine. I always preferred Malice hustler with remorse and introspection steeez than Pusha. I’ve never been overly impressed by Pusha T solo work outside of Daytona. Always thought he was a good feature artist not an elite song writer. I’d take Gibbs over him in that aspect. I think because Pusha went at Drake people tend to exaggerate him being an elite lyricist.

Only big thing is now Malice ain’t really making music so it’s silly to say he’s better than Pusha at this point. But when they was both a group. Even during the mixtape run. I always felt Malice was better. And for the cat who tries to say it’s some contrarian shyt like Big Boi is better than Andre 3K. For one. There’s nothing wrong with thinking Big Boi was better because in real time they weren’t far off. Number 2. Big Boi actually has dope shyt on his own.
