There's almost no such thing as full time when it comes to this retail jobs now, so it takes two part times to make up for the full time.

I'm looking at all types of jobs (especially since I'm trying to buy another car and an apartment) but on average, about how much money can be made if there's two retail jobs to be worked?

my advice dont work a retail job... work a warehouse night shift somewhere like ikea... i did that to pay my tuition the last year of school... pays much better, and u wont need that gym membership anymore

I've worked a couple of warehouse jobs before but the thing is I've only been able find temp work with those jobs. I've never been able to find a full time gig with those types of jobs.

Oh yeah?

It'd be nice if I could get two jobs and have one that pays weekly and the other every other week because that way I'd constantly have bread coming in. But I know there's not a lot of weekly paying retail jobs.

Depends if its commission or not. When i did work on commish I average 13/hr so i was taking $650 - 800 every 2 weeks with 35 hours a week but i was Top 5 in my district

$1,000 to $1,300 a month....give or take :yeshrug:

My manager used to always have me count up the drawers & drop the take at the end of the night......one day I looked at the screen and saw the store (Walgreens) made $35,000 that day. 30 g's nikka. That's $12.8 million over the year. Call it an even $12 million to account for days the take was low. The rest of the time I worked there I had the :beli: everytime the manager talked about hiring freezes/hour cutbacks/small ass raises. Its like 15 people working here fakkit & the store makes over a million a month :stopitslime:

Yea :wow:

Next to the safe was the terminal (pc) and i guess it collects the total sales each day (cash + credit/debit purchases up front, photography section, and all the sales from the pharmacy) and dude left the screen up.

35,000 x 365 = $12,775,000 a year....give or take...

Yet they paid us $7.00 an hour :pacspit: Yall could've easily afforded $11 or $12....damn :wow:

Retail work = Slave work

Do it if you still going to school. But If this is all you got going for you than I feel bad for your career.

Nah....b fukk that. I did that shyt in HS & before going to college. Cant do it no more :yeshrug:

I tried working one my freshman year again & realized my tolerance for retail jobs reached a critical low :childplease:

You can find paying internships in your city during the year, and you'll build experience thats actually relevant.

Um, we have a minimum wage because to be truthful an employer will pay you the lowest amount they can get away with paying you. Be thankful you got that $7.00 and be smart enough to stay out of retail and actually pursue jobs with a path to advancement.

Well coming from a guy that worked in bestbuy for 2 years (worst 2 years of my life) I wouldn't even touch retail.
I made very little to no money and i completely hated coming to work. One hot August day I just said fukk it and quit on the spot and it was the best decision I made in my life. Hey I had no car no money and bytches gave me that :upsetfavre: look but I finished school n started a career and now I'm making 5x more than those idiot co workers at bestbuy who drank the koolaid and decided to stick it out. Till this day I can't even step inside a bestbuy because of my experiences working there. DON'T DO IT.

Are you forreal?

Hell yea he's forreal...

On an average day, one Target store makes $55,000 to $70,000 per day.

A Wal-Mart, around $80,000 - $100,000 per day.

I've heard from someone that use to manage at a Kroger that their individual store raked in over $100,000 K per day.

I don't know how true that Kroger sales figure is but I know for a fact, Target and Wal-Marts make A LOT of doe per day, but pay their employees minimum wage or close to it.

And we not even talking about what these individual stores make during the holidays, SMH....

Retail = Modern day slavery.
