How do you define white validation? is obtaining a college deegree from a ''white'' university institution meaning you want white validation? what about applying to jobs owned by white men and corporations of white men? is that one as well? such a scale or question cant be answered to be it is so broad it encompasses so much to begin to break down, if you argue that the entire society is white controlled/power revolves around their approval, then by virtue everyone would have to be subject to that then.

It seems that in my career field white validation is what is needed to get to the next level and become a famous artist.

Black folk got money too. I honestly do not feel comfortable about selling my black art to white folk due to the visual composition of my works of art.

However, I did literally shop "Maman Brigitte: Maman's Day" to Reginald Lewis Museum Of Art, African American History Museum in DC and got no hit backs. But my work was acquired by the New Orleans Museum Of Art.

When rappers/comedians/entertainers wanna take it to the next level they need that cross over.
