Rollercoasters, sports, sex, music, movies..

'Daily' life. You can't jump up and ride a rollercoaster anytime you want. Sports isn't as fun as doing 100mph and never will be. Music and movies don't provide thrills. Sex is 15 minutes with a risk of disease and unwanted kids. If you can't understand why driving a fast car or motorcycle is thrill seeking fun there's really not point in explaining myself. 90% of the population doesn't understand it and will continue to shyt on our hobby:manny:

This 70 Chevelle SS 454 is better than everything you listed, but that's my opinion:manny:

I'm well aware of the hobby and the culture itself. I have friends who are very into cars and that's their passion. I have my old VW Passat which i chipped and upgraded the turbo and did all the stuff like i would go to the VW meetups and shyt.
But owning 20 cars, breh? :dahell:
Again, if that's what helps him get through his day in this cruel world then be my guest.

Jay Leno has how many cars and you not saying nothin:mjpls:

Not shytting on your hobby, just pointing out that different things bring thrills to people.

It’s all subjective.

You like driving 100 miles an hour, I hate it.

I’d rather lean in the whip doing 35 listening to some old school or UGK.

I'll admit I was one off those that
  • Never heard of Omi until this thread.
  • Never heard of Nipsey until he died.
Some of brehs just dont follow pop culture and certain things that close and im sure im not alone in this so dont be surprised when people you are very familiar with have never been heard of by others.
Aint nothing wrong with not knowing who people are. But what he did (people do) is like if you right now, just learning who OMI is, and you turn around and act like you grew up with the man and he was so influential to who you are as a person, and then commission painters to make murals of you and Omi together and move to Philly. Thats weirdo shyt. And thats what Corey did. :skip:

I know who Jay Leno is tho i never really watched his show. I dont know anything about his personal life and what kind and how many cars he has eiher. And if you read my original post i said i can understand someone having classic cars as collectibles because they appreciate in value after a while + You can rent them out to movie productions and people shooting music videos. See my previous post highlighted in spoiler
Cars are supposed to be a tool. A tool to get you from A to B. But over time they have gotten more luxurious, more advanced and faster and other things. We as people have been romanticizing cars for decades and treat them almost as toys and attached them to status symbols and whatnot. I still don't think it's a good idea to have multiple cars unless you are a collector of classics which appreciate in value over time but that's just me. I have 2 cars and thats only because I wanna sell the other to buy a pick up truck. It makes no sense to have 2 sedans. Or 2 trucks. Or any redundancy in those things. But to some it's just a matter of having their toys. And it's often those feast-or-famine type dudes too (not saying it's the case here).
Whatever helps you get through your day in this cruel world I guess :manny:
While it's not for us to tell a dude what to do with his money, I still can't respect it and reserve the right to laugh at it when a mofo has 20 cars

I have a former white coworker who inherited his father-in-law's car collection that does that. I also have a black breh i'm cool with who collects classic Porshes. I wanna say he has 5. Both of them rent them to movie production companies and make money off them.

Is that what Leno does?

New video, he says he has to turn the Audi R8 in to the feds so he’s enjoying it one last time :patrice: I thought they took ALL his cars? I’ve watched almost all of the new videos and don’t remember him mentioning that they left him one car, an R8 and told him drop it off when he gets a chance lol

Well if he's lying about everything and just got his whips shipped to New York (he said he was moving there before all this) then no surprise :skip:
If he's not lying, he said they didnt take his properties so maybe a few cars werent seized? :yeshrug:

Yeah i hear ya. Some people like to hop on what's trending.

Personally there are artists that I learned to appreciate after they passed away. But i'm not gonna front like i always liked them. Like Public Enemy was a bit before my time (in the U.S.) but long after they stopped making music i learned to appreciate and actually loved some of their joints. But i'm not gonna be like dude as you said acting like he been on that shyt :russ:

100% facts. I'm in real estate so I have Nationwide database access where I can search in 2 seconds. Super convenient

You are pretty much the only rapper that had a 7 figure deal that preached economic independence and getting corporate paper before your deal, and was honest about your life before rap. You have also been very involved with the new generation and honest about your new phase in life.

You're well read, funny and extremely positive and motivational. You said something that I didn't agree with and the way that you dealt with my comments (putting the flame under your ass) with such grace and respect made me realize why your career has been so blessed.

I see why you're the only G-Unit guy that 50 never says anything bad about. I bust your balls a lot, but I just want you to know that I have a lot of respect for you.

I think Leno just genuinely enjoys collecting classic and rare cars. He's also worth around $400 million so cost isn't an issue for him.
