Now be honest, if he instead would’ve just came in and won every match in dominating fashion and probably be champ.

like why is he wrestling on Dark? dude has no business on that and it makes him look like a scrub instead of a star by having matches on there, that's like Stone Cold having 20 min matches on Sunday Night Heat
i understand him and the rest of The Elite want to show how humble they are but they're squandering their star power with this run and it doesn't bode well for AEW's longevity

i been away to long, my feeling died.
Also the biggest mistake he is making as from a recruiting standpoint. What outside star wants to wrestle Marko and the death match guy? Stars want to work with other stars and if the best talent in the federation is goofing off. Why would I want to sign there? Might as make WWE money in catering.

Agreed. I think the above was/is the problem. They were booking themselves too humble from the jump of the show. They all should have been the forefront bodying dudes, especially Kenny, and then eventually scale back. Let new viewers know why they were big elsewhere and why AEW even exists.
If people then turned on them for winning too much as Executive VPs then you adjust/run with the heel gimmick.

A star of his magnitude was supposed to help lift others up to his level, not bring himself down to theirs. The Elite booking themselves like that as a whole has created the same set of problems that putting themselves on top would’ve made, if not more so.
I was expecting a good Kenny x Pac or Ken Darby feud. Maybe we'll get a Kenny x Hangman feud?
