Need Joel on the court. Hawks owe the Spurs a pick this year. Can't have them moving up in the standings cause this big terrycloth ass nikka sitting out a bunch of games.

Imagine dropping bread for opening night tickets to see these two :mjlol:

Man... I remember going to a Suns game a few years ago when the Pelicans were in town thinking I was gonna see Zion and Ingram. BOTH them clowns was out :beli: I was upset, but at least Phoenix had an easy win.

You got players in other sports rushing back from crazy injuries and NBA players are calling in sick before the season even starts.

It ain't a good look to tell people to "prepare to see this all year".

Fans know if a team starts off this soft already, they ain't winning shyt.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Thats a false choice. Just because they have failed in the past doesn't mean this is a good idea.

If they cant make it through the regular season, chances are they cant make it through a playoff run :manny:. Injuries are not something you can avoid like that. They just happen...especially for injury prone nikkas. Point is, either they got it or they dont. Putting them in shrink wrap on the shelf aint helping anything. We have never seen any of these "just get to the playoffs" teams win it all.
Ok my saying Embiid can miss half of the season was probably overstating it and probably not a good idea when it comes to team cohesion and consistency and building an identity and momentum toward the postseason. I don’t blame the team or Embiid for trying to think of how to have him healthy for the postseason. Has he ever been healthy in a postseason? Kawhi missed a quarter of the regular season games for Toronto and Shaq was missing his share doing LA’s three-peat so I actually think there’s some precedent for the strategy.
