yeah, 20+ years ago :mjlol:

Section 8 and dusty city nikkas ruined the south burbs. Seen it with my own eyes growing up out there. Our block was half white/half black(middle class) when my fam came to CC Hills in the 90s.

Mid 2000s come around , they started handing section 8 vouchers out like candy and everyone from the city started moving out to the burbs
Damn shame. It's interesting because the incomes in those places for black people are around 60k to 70k+ as of 2017. Is it like a lot of our cities where you have solid middle-income areas and blighted/run down areas?

I mean, nah them areas still look ight in present day, those towns you named aren’t blighted by any stretch.

I just remember them being super pristine back in the day with people who actually gave a shyt about keeping up the neighborhoods. Lot of renters live in those areas now.

You’re taking people who’ve never in a suburban environment and expecting them to conform. Like not blasting your music at 2am on a Wednesday night or having a busted up Pontiac sitting on cinderblocks in your driveway. Cutting your grass, not littering, not allowing your Ghetto ass kids to break into garages and shyt.

No sir!! Not on the coli...

You got nikkas who'll straight up say they moved around CACs because there are no upscale black suburbs.. Granted they maybe from another state.. But I find it hard to believe that you don't have good, all black suburbs, around most major cities nationwide..

I mean it really is hard to find upscale black neighborhoods in the Midwest that's popping. South and east coast got all of the black folks

Like @prime mentioned too expensive. My aunt and fam lived in matteson as well and my cousin who is my age bought a house out in Olympia Fields once he start bringing in good money from working with the Schneider trucking company. When my aunt died in 2015 he sold both the olympia fields house AND the matteson house and moved down to Arizona

That is around the same time that my parents sold their house and moved out of the South Suburbs. The kicker is that those dusty ass section 8 nikkas turned whole sections of the south suburbs into the hood. My sister still owns a house in Matteson and she complains about that shyt all the time as well as the high taxes.

Bruh, the Coli hates this video because it’s truth...explains exactly why we don’t have more of the nice areas in the OP’s post. We got way too many of one kind and not enough of the other....

How could any reasonable working man not understand that video? If you working your ass off to improve the quality of the lives of you and your family then how can anybody not understand that you don't want to live next door to a bunch of clown ass nikkas.

Matteson is cool where they built those new houses on both sides of the interstate. My sister lives an older section closer to the preserve.
