You honestly think OLEDs can get as bright as an LED set? It's on thing to have tech you prefer but it's another to gloss over the inherent flaws of that tech to try and make it sound better. There isn't a flawless commercial TV tech right now. Whatever you pick there's trade offs.
The top models are approaching it, but that's the ONLY advantage to LED aside from fast horizontal motion, another thing the gap is closing on. OLED is superior in every other metric.

Again I prefer OLED but that doesn't mean there isn't a use case where a QLED isn't the better choice. If somebody said they're going with a TCL over an OLED I wouldn't fault them nor do I think that's a broke person choice. TCL is a value brand but they're on the lower end of quality still. They're what Vizio used to be when they got into making the P-series.

Just got the 65” C4.

Upgraded from a Sony LCD (900xf) from 2018, I didn’t even know it was so old! Looking forward to the apparent PS5 performance increase, and just some other streaming services on my ATV working in UHD and Atmos via my HT-A9

Cons to coming from a sony, your ps5 and all that stuff doesn’t link as seamlessly, i miss that. Also Android interface is better imo

pro’s its a muuuuuch better tv

Yeah it was a hard one tbh. I wanted to get the Bravia 7 last weekend but the Mrs said nah and I. Checked today before getting the C4 and it was sold out.

Unfortunately I do not get to game as much as I have a 2 y/o and a 6 week old so mostly watching UHD content on NF or via discs.

I’ll play the AAA PS5 content for sure, but they’re few and far between. I don’t think my current TV has no compatibility with the PS5 besides CEC.

ATV is our primary delivery system hopefully will stay far away from any smart TV OS. I think when Sony get 3 or more 2.1 HDMI ports then illl get their main OLED.
