It was always a shame that Owen Hart didn't get more play in Attitude Era Main Event scene before he passed away. There was an easy babyface feud with DX and Vince to get revenge for what happened in Montreal.
He also could've made an incredible heel for Austin. McMahon could've turned to Owen, in his war with Austin. Playing off Owen breaking his neck back in 1997, making Owen Vince's best option to take the belt off Austin and possibly get rid of him for good. The story would been so easy to do.
I've been thinking of this lately. Feel free to discuss/add on.
- Scott Hall: mic skills, legit 6'7, was just "cool" face or heel
- William Regal: technical beast, great character, worked in the ring as well as a out of ring character
- Monty Brown: the pounce was hugely over in its day
- Lance Storm: enough said
- Owen Hart: enough said
- Bob Holly: could easily see him being the one doing the Marine gimmick if he was younger
- Kane: 1996 version today would be the top heel in the business
Kerry Von Erich

Perfect got big at the wrong time, but his talent transcends era. And I loved the fact that he was serious as a heart attack yet cool as a mu'fuxa. (Of topic, but imagine Henning and Rude as a tag team.)
So no one thinks that with the same gimmick Holly couldn't have been Cena?

MyGawdThePower said:Since when is Kerry von Erich considered a "midcarder?" He beat Ric Flair for the NWA title back in 84 when it still mattered. Just because the WWF didn't use him properly, doesn't mean he's a mid-carder.
