He's ALWAYS been nice. Start with the first and move forward. Lot of material. He got a ton of material on YouTube as well. He has always made me question Nas GOAT status.

I'll be 41 August 7th. He is older, more mature and seasoned and is one of the reasons I don't mind listening to hip hop

Ok. I just always looked at him as veering towards the preachy backpack type of Hip Hop, which I'm not that much of a fan of. The only ones I listen to in that vein is Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli... I'm more into the Street aesthetic, intellectual storyteller

But I will deff give his discography a listen

A lot of legendary artists from the late 80’s and early 90’s never went gold. Cassette bootlegs was a huge thing back then that took a lot of sales away from artists. I remember being on Jamaica Ave back then you could buy 3 or 4 bootleg albums for like $10.

I’m embarrassed to admit but a lot of my cassette collection came from the Ave. I remember buying
Return of the Funky Man, Dead Serious, The Fabulous Chi-Ali, F.U. Don’t Take It Personal, and Born Into The 90s all on the same day.
