It's crazy, in the 90's I was buying multiple albums every WEEK. Now it's about 1 album every 3 yr avg

OP needs to define excited for, because IMO it means "anticipating/can't wait til it drops" while some people are taking it as an album they were really feeling/loved. If the latter is the case, then yea, there have been hella albums & mixtapes that have dropped that i loved
