Cam- Come Home With Me
This was the last album I was hyped about before it came out, and lived up to the hype.

One Be Lo- Sonogram
Found out about this dude during the Myspace days, and this album became a personal classic to me.

Little Brother- Getback
Friend of mine burned a copy of this, and I was all about this album for a good minute.

Dre- Compton
I was hyped to hear this as soon as I heard about it. I still love this album with the exception of about 3 or 4 mediocre tracks. It grows on me a little more each time I hear it.

Most these nikkas 17-23 on here, I remember thinking 30 was old af at that age too.
that's a fact, I thought 30 was old until I reached my mid 20s, now that I'm in my early 30's I realize that if you live healthy and slow down with the fukkery you aren't even half done yet lol

Lil WAYNE era was the last time I was truly excited for hip hop.

After carter 4 (didn't like it as a whole) I wasn't as enthusiastic as I was before.

None of these post 2010s rappers really that dope.

Future's run is probably the closest I've been to really loving hip hop as I did during the wayne era.

:mjlol: I have been pretty tame on releases since then. I was a Freshman in highschool when this came out, so that was like the prime of my teenage timeframe and everyone wanted this fukking album man. Back then nikkas would line up at Sam Goody because it was 2 years before Napster came out and fukked the game up :yeshrug:

There's been plenty of BETTER albums released since then to be honest, I prefer the Chronic 2 to Ghetto D, but the hype just wasn't the same as it was when you were 15 or so and lived and breathed the music man.

Back in MIA
Puff Daddy and the Family No Way Out :francis:

You name it I bought it. The Infamous, It was Written, Reasonable Doubt, Life and Times Vol 1, Ready to Die, CNN War Report, All Eyes on Me.

But No Way Out was the post biggie Bad Boy album I checked for and I remember where I was when I bought it.

That album and the music videos that came along with it changed hip hop forever. Whether it was in a good way or not is up for debate.
