Good to see Booker get the love he deserves for that game.

When they were down 13 that dude made Serbia take some ridiculous shots from 3 that were airballs and cooled off their guards.

Also some people aren't talking about it, but his strength/size slowed down Jokic and at least prevented some quick passes to the paint when they'd switch. Booker definitely threw off some of Serbia's rhythm when they couldn't get into the post as easily on Jokic switch-ups and made Jokic take extra time to establish position. Then got out there and swarmed the perimeter during that 4th quarter.

Then on top of that being able to hit shots like this is why he's such a good roster fit. They don't win that game without him.

At the end of the day, they met Serbia 3 times in a few weeks and won all 3. Can't ask for much more. That said the rebounding was atrocious and the future looks bleak. Once LeBron and KD are gone it will be mighty interesting

Once KD, Steph, and Bron hang it up...That'll be the end of US Olympic basketball dominance.I just don't see it with the new stars:mjcry:
Yeah the U.S. talent advantage is finna narrow considerably. They can still win golds but it'll require a much more cohesive development/training etc., program. They figured it out between '04 and '08 but now the Millenial superstars are old. Gen Z got next.

They gotta adapt again.
