If the law allows the public to start executing people who pose no threat to them simply because they feel they were "wronged" by that person, then its time to say goodbye to any sense of sanity in the justice system. Like I said in my original post. Once you break into a nikkas house, all bets are off.

Whether he shot her once, twice, or 11 times, he still shot and killed her. You can't be cool with him shooting her once, but not twice. Like 1 extra bullet makes a difference. nikkas die with 1 gunshot all the time. Old man just wanted to make sure.
