Transfer out of OSU.

Look. Mike Gundy believes what he believes. Players threatening to sit are not going to open Gundy's eyes to his ignorance. It will just lead to him making some phony statement about how he agrees that systemic racism and police bruality are a problem. It would be a PR move to calm his players down.

Take your talents elsewhere.

Because many of them matured during the Obama presidency and actually believe that there was something called a post-racial era (because people older than them fed them that lie). Instead of Obama being the anomaly, he's now the norm.

Chubba was born in 99. To think that his coach was incapable of this act leads me to believe he feels like his coach was actually a better person than this. It's a major assumption on my part. I just don't understand why he thinks the man that's wearing that shirt is different from the man who walked into his living room (look at the phrasing: "insensitive" to "what's going on in society")

It keeps bothering me because that means that everyday it requires a new white person to commit a new racist act to awaken a new black person. It's an unsustainable factor to build a movement on and gives power to the idea that concealing racism is a winning strategy.
I don't agree. Their parents knew better and if anything, this reaction is showing so.

I'm in the burbs and most of these black kids are the ones leading the BLM movements out here. Three separate protests out here were led by black HS kids.....And they are ANGRY. I don't know who you've been listening to but this isn't some theory to me. I'm hearing different from these actual youngins. They know these folks are very capable.

I'm not getting your angle at ALL. Have you seen the rage out there from these kids that you can come to such a conclusion?

honestly if OSU doesn’t fire him at this point they don’t care :yeshrug:

Mike Gundy is mos definitely one of those coaches that is living out a slave masters fantasy with his players. He dont give 2 shyts about them as people. There is way too many of these types of cacs in college sports. Making millions off of free black labor like their ancestors.

Chuba's a biracial Canadian kid from a province with a tiny black population. Wouldnt be surprised if moving down south changed his political perspective.

All props to him though, gutsy stand.
