why not just put Ibaka at center?
Ibaka's not much of an enforcer in the paint though. He's a weak-side blocker that's a much better fit for the 4.

word, but don't you think it would've been a great idea in the Heat series? Bosh was playing center, it would've made more sense to have Ibaka at center, its not like Perkins was some amazing rim protector. He had trouble defending bosh on the perimeter, this dude Bosh was hitting 3's in that seriesIbaka's not much of an enforcer in the paint though. ofc it was a mistake.. Garnett made Perkins look better than he was.. Garnett is known to make scrubs look like they solid defensively out there. There's a reason shytty / avarage defenders like Ray Allen, Bass PP and Rondo were in the starting lineups for a team with the greatest defense in the league, the reason is Garnett. bums are getting defensive reputations simply by playing on the celtics
you see what happens when they move to another team though
Tony Allen is a legit defender though.
the real problem here is Scott Brook's trash ass lineups. Dude wouldn't put Collison in and had James Harden defending Lebron on some possessions. I literally couldn't even believe the lineups he had out there on the floor.
should've started him from the jump. Now they see what they're missing now that he can stunt on the rockets. Harden is too good to be a 6th man, IDGAF about Thabo's defense. KD should've manned up and guarded bronNot only that he had one of his biggest weapons on the bench in the finals, and expected he to waltz into the game and succeed with that level of intensity against Heat team that was already locked in by the time he got in games. He should of started Harden at least 2 games in the finals, what exactly were they saving him for, it was the finals
