Hornets will get there, slowly but surely.

Getting rid of those 2 contracts is huge, and they don't have to amnesty anyone since Rashard's ends this season. $24MM off the books in 1 shot, and all they have is $20MM on the books for 2014 with a bunch of team options too. :ohlawd:

I hope they get Marshall with the 10th pick...not Lillard.

When was the last time the Wizards weren't gassed up as "a playoff team" on here. They could win 5 games and come back with the same players the next season and people on here would still be calling them a 4-5 seed.

It all but assures they go for Beal.

I like the idea of what the Wiz are doing, surrounding Wall with veterans, Nene's contract is ass but they went from young and dumb to a bunch of hard working players. Complete culture change in a short time, they'll get their shooter for Wall and a SF that can fill the lane.
.

Theyve been bad for so long they should show more patience..killing your cap and flxeiblity to hope to be an 8th seed is never a good look in the NBA..

Now I hope the Bobcats take Barnes, so that young Drummond ends up in Cleveland.

whats the end goal? they don't have the flexibility to bring in any talent by free agency taking on all these bad contracts

only way wizards will get another superstar to pair with wall is through the drafts....but if these veterans serve their purpose the wizards shouldnt lose enough games to draft a star

i love this trade for the hornets

That's why I only like the idea of it  Not so much actually putting it into practice.

I think the Wiz are banking on Wall taking that next step, and if they do draft Beal, him becoming an all-star.

37 wins doesn't get you in the East anymore

Philly's horrific post ASB made it look worse than it is

Yeah but who knows what half these teams out East comeback with next year.

76ers could lose Brand, Lou, & Hawes. Plus they been trying to trade Iggy.
Knicks are the Knicks :wtb:
Magic don't know what their doing.

Wizards could be better than Brooklyn, Detroit, Toronto, Milwaukee, & Cleveland so they could sneak into the 8 spot.

who wants to sneak into the 8th spot? your team couldnt be in a worse position if you are happy about sneaking into the 8th seed. lotto >>> 8th seed

I agree but it is the Wizards :manny:

What the hell has happened to MKG's stock that is making him potentially slip? He went from top 3 lock to possibly going to Golden State at #7. From what I've herd his workouts haven't been that bad.

Cant shoot:umad:

nikkas saw how useless Thabo is at end of games hittin the side of the backboard on a wide open three

Get these "specialists" out of starting lineups and brign it back to a skill game where everyone can put the ball in the basket like the game was intended to be played :obama:

in order to do that you must need skilled players, and MKG is one of them. Christ he's not liable on offense.

For the record I have Cleveland taking him at 4, but it's mind-boggling how Robinson and MKG have excelled at workouts and somehow have seen their stocks slip.

Maybe its a positive these teams arent putting all their stock into how a player fares vs a chair..

Robinson to me is gonna be a solid player but anytime he faced a player with height and length he struggled much like Sullinger did..

I wouldnt touch him top three

Robinson statistically beasted in college and in game tape. If anything, Beal and Barnes' stocks are being boosted off of their interviews which is even more retarded.

could've bought out Rashard Lewis for $13.7 mil by 6/30. Emeka Okafor & Trevor Ariza are owed a combined $43 million through 2014

all to hopefully sneak into the 8th seed? :wtf:
