Ok So where did Chamillionaire go wrong

I came up listening to Cham on Swishahouse and Color Changing Click CDs and I personally thought he always sounded waaaaaaay better screwed than at regular speed.

After Ridin Dirty blew up it seems like he kind of lost his identity a lil bit.

The no cursing thing didn't help. I didn't mind him doing it because he really didn't curse alot anyway. But making a big deal out of wasn't a good move.

It sucks because he is actually a dope rapper and he basically ethered Mike Jones at least down here in Texas.

But I think alot of those Houston rappers kind of shot themselves in the foot when they went away from the "Screw" sound. Those screw CDs were the reason why most of them dudes were rich before they had a deal. But it seem like they wanted to be accepted by the mainstream rap fans and made more traditional CDs. But the chopped and screw sound is what had made them unique in the first place

When it came to the tax sound u could tell Cham wasn't from tx.. Biggest fraud in the state...say wha u want bout mike watts but watts gave the nawf shine n helped them boys eat... Koop didn't give a shyt bout none of it jus knew it made em money n he raped it

that nikka dropped nothing but heat and had bars for days. had the hook game on lock also.


he should be a big star right now, he has all the talent to be one. just not gonna happen. that ep he dropped recently had some good songs on it though.

Cham used to be my favorite rapper and I'm in Cali . Didn't know who he was till I visited my cousins in Mississippi in '04 and they were all bumping his shyt.

I wouldn't say the no cussing did him in, it was changing his style up after his previous rap style helped him blow up. Him figuring out that he could sing hooks well went to his head too. He was going all gospel in shyt on his last LP .

Even with his ego and being exposed , Cham would still be relavent today if he left his rap delivery alone.
