cause he signed to a major label. he was unsigned for soo long and just producing southern music for his fans.
he changed up his style and ended up just not working out for him.. he used to be the punchline king now hes just weak.
i followed his career ever since paul wall/cham swishahouse and got damn its a sad story once he blew up.

He always had that gimmick since the time he started. His downfall came is when he thought he was big enough to change what got him there. Yes he got big by being a punchline/baller rapper but the problem was that he changed his flow along with his subject matter. Its cool to change your subject matter but he changed his flow into a robotic type ish. His flow was entertain as hell, so I don't know why he would change it. Basically, he got away from what made him big in the first place

He hasn't gone wrong. He's a rapper turned property mogul/entrepreneur that doesn't have to pick up the mic and tour his ass off all the time for money anymore. He saw the industry and what it does to you when you're finished, took his lane and did what he had to do.
now he's living comfortably as a millionaire releasing mixtapes for his fans and having fun. What's Paul Wall doing?
