No, it really doesn't. If I get a female pregnant and she wants to get it aborted, there's nothing I can do short of keeping her tied up for 9 months if I want her to keep the child. Similarly, if I don't want the child but she does, there's nothing I can do (legally) to keep her from having it. Men's reproductive rights stop as soon as we orgasm and we have no say.

sidenote: I remember back when I was like 10 or 11, I saw an abortion (I'm sure it was fake), on cable access tv. It was like my first or second month out in Long Island. It didn't even shock me. I think partly cause I had just started getting into anime and seeing wild shyt was the thing to do. I think it took me about 4 years of piecing the memory together to fully understand that it was an abortion and that I should've been emotionally scarred.

seriously…I saw it, was like "what the fukk"…changed channels…then went back to it hoping to see it again and verify my experience. I never saw it again to this day.

Depends on the situation. If the child has some debilitating, terminal condition that guarantees it a short life of suffering, then it's possible I would be ok with aborting even if it's pretty late. Medical screening technology will improve and only become more and more important in determining things like this in the future.

Actually, technology can do more harm than good. By allowing parents to fully acknowledge the consequences of carrying/delivering the baby can cause an increase in birth anxiety, depression, and overall doubt that would not be present without the additional information.

I mean, yea, there are certainly circumstances where I would consider it, but none of those circumstances would be, "well Im just not ready." The worst thing about abortion is how it gets used as birth control, and I wish there was a better way to control that. But most of the problems we deal with are problems of people being irresponsible and not the issue itself.

I dont think outlawing abortion is the right thing. But I hate seeing it abused.

I think it's abused. It's bad for the female body, and a lot of times her psyche. I also think it's wrong to kill a fetus/child/baby whatever, because you didn't want to use a rubber or some preliminary form of birth control.

However, my personal feelings, still trump the fact that I will never physically have an abortion. So I'm still pro choice.
