Finally, a large number of African Americans ancestors were Muslim. Many were forced into Christianity, especially during the second great awakening, but Islams influence in African American Christian Churches is pretty clear.
Then we agree. If the women that have the children are pariahs, then the men that helped the women make the children are pariahs too. The only reason the women stand out is because they usually have custody of their kids. If more men had custody of the children that they had by multiple women, then I think that most guys attitudes towards single parents would change.
