not really, black women say they love it because the writings so good. listen, law and order has better writing. if you're interested check out 6 episodes and you'll get the gist of the show.

Lol nope it was a shyt storm when the head writer said Harrison (fione ass Columbus Short) could have a relationship with Olivia. People went fukkin crazy. The whole allure of the show is yes, it's a powerful black woman, but that she's with the most powerful (white) man in the world And he actually wants a black woman and cheats on his white wife and promises to leave his white wife, for the black woman. So let's keep it one hunnid.
I had hoped that plot line would have taken place 
I never agreed or liked kerrys character being the mistress of a white president, but I do understand it being the main reoccurring plot of the show...there are more things about the show that I like than that I don't like, and that is why I watch it.
