And almost every subjective piece of art or genre has standards of greatness that have been established over time. There are things we like that we know fail many of these standards. But besides all that, I'm talking about when you find yourself defending a person's lifestyle and placing designations on them that often don't fit because of what you want them to embody. You often find yourself in contradictory situations. Stans do that shyt all the time. When you set a standard for what is acceptable and then your favorite artist fails to meet that standard but you craft excuses for it---you're a stan.

When you define subjective as your point of view alone to where you categorize everyone who disagrees with you as a particular type of individual--you're a stan. I hate Kendrick's new song, my cousin likes it. It's whatever. He's not going "oh you're just not catching K.Dot's deepness, etc." That shyt is why everyone is 5 starring this thread as much as Walt's points.
