It’s vague and not universally applied.

I wouldn’t be honing in on the violence mentioned (in lyrics unless it was so specific to be direct) as proof, but rather the many Blood references/calls, and the general prevalence of violent/arms in Thug’s lyrics to paint the picture of who he is from his own mouth.

Of course you have people like Ar-Ab though who hall monitor escort themselves into a prison, I’m sure police and prosecutors appreciate people like him.
Yea I know in thug case , dudes a fukking idiot and makes the case it should be used. Just a general sense in the future that any entertainer is convicted of a crime and their “art” is used to link to them to something.

I think he means the 5% that was true was on his come up where he eas involved in that life.

no different than a hustler making it to the next stage and leaving that life hut still benefiting from it.

A lot of these brehs made the switch to legit business and still rapped like they were in the trenches
He’s literally trolling lol

And you’re responding seriously lol

As a whole I'm bothered by how many events I see like this as I grow older where trained professionals are so proudly unserious and incompetent while doing their job.

It's not just this either, it's everywhere, from teachers, doctors, realtors, etc.

When I was younger it felt like these things were such a big deal and people wore their occupations on their sleeves. I can't tell if it's always been like this or if social media has changed people.

I agree with all of this

Its downright terrifying how every fukking thing in real life resembles a Wayans Family parody nowadays. Like where is the seriousness and professionalism in ANYTHING!?? This is damn trial for which civilian people have been hunted down and MURDERED and its all just going down like we’re watching a scene from National Lampoon. Its really disturbing

social media!

To be fair, I have seen the same thing in real life, I was attending a murder trial for my boy who was murdered, more like my homies little cousin, I know his whole family. And, outside the courtroom, an inside, these young law school students were attending for research, they were laughing and looking at their phones in the trial. The judged rebuked them.

They don't need to be demonized or anything, they are just young and haven't really been exposed to death or violence, is my guess, it's all theoritecal to them. But, laughing and giggling and like checking your instagram when you are right next to the FAMILY of the victim.

and yeah, YSL trial, same thing for everybody. Thugga gets convicted, he's done. That will tear his family apart. He'll do 30 years. only way out is maybe an appeal, like El Dorado Red. The murdered victims, even if gang members, like Donovan Thomas are PEOPLE. They have families. They have loved ones. But yea, you don't have to be stoic, there are plenty of funny moments in trials, but this disconnect between everything being for entertainment, for clicks, for views, for outrage is corrosive.

It’s astounding bro. I’m also one that believed these things were more serious and more “professional” than what’s been displayed.

A man is facing life in prison with allegations or murder, drugs, racketeering and people out here cracking up in the court room.
