Man this shyt is crack to me. The character stuff, the personalities, the storylines, the way it builds on one season to the next and truly tests it’s characters. Completely different beast than ultimate Spider-Man. But very much the same beast as spectacular Spider-Man because the creator is the same. Dude speaks to me

just got back in it. only watched the first ep.


It's nice and refreshing.... knowing that The West can produce animation this.... layered, built, complex and adult without just doing dumb fluff written for 12 year olds while adding violence, nudity and frat humor.

I wish american animation was treated as a legit storytelling medium without resorting to the Disney formula.

Think of all of the non-comic stories you could do/adapt. It's like a legit open market.



All those sub plots hit me like I got caught in the rain. All those memories. My blood literally curdled when I seen Glorious Godfrey on the screen.

As far as american animation goes, DCAU is a masterclass level benchmark.

Some of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid were the ones that felt more grown up. Really wish that Marvel would step their animated game up.
