I'm going to the Gamestop Expo this year, And WWE 2K16 is going to be playable there.
alrighty so I went to the expo and played the game. I'm finally putting my write up here. I had it posted elsewhere, as I don't really enjoy posting here any longer. But I feel like some of you might genuinely enjoy hearing about the game.
So, I'll start off with the tag team match I had.
The AI has improved a significant amount. And I mean SIGNIFICANT. I had pinned Cesaro after Daniels running kick finisher; and then when I went to pin him KO immediately went into the ring to attack Tyson Kidd. I also threw Kidd out to do a table spot, and Kevin knocked the ref out accidentally so the ref didn't see it. The tag team moves are awesome as well.
there is a button that lets you switch to who you want to be during a match. I pressed the middle ps button and I could be either the legal man in the ring, or the illegal, with just the press of a button.
Breakout can be used in universe, single player, online, it doesn't matter. You can be fighting the AI and use it. It's not restricted to one mode or multiplayer. I used it when I was KO, I entered first, then Kidd did, and I pressed x and KO made a motion like he was pointing at Kidd and then you were able to control him, but the cool thing is, kidds entrance didn't stop, he kept in the same animation of the entrance and wasn't standing there in the robotic position. I ran up to him and punched him and he reacted to it from his entrance. He still had his sweater on and the cloth physics were INSANE. I suplexed Kidd outside of the ring and his hood came off. We kept fighting, and I ran in the ring, but the ref made it a no contest. But what was weird was since I was in the ring, the cutscenes that played teleported me to the outside to where I was beating Kidd up, and it ended.
Bryan's signature kicks don't have the grapple animation anymore, pressing Y does the kick itself.
Every single animation from the old games is gone. Its all gone. From what I played at least. Everything ran silky smooth, the springboards even look WAY better.
It wouldn't let me click downloadable superstars. But showcase wasn't in the build I played. Only play now, single match and tag team.
Kevin's pop up powerbomb is like ortons DDT from last year. Hell kick his opponent and throw him towards the furthest ropes, and pull it off.
Don't worry about the reversal limitations. They go away, but you can still pretty much reverse everything. The only thing that makes it go down fast is reversing finishers (which is completely reasonable)
The submission system surprised me. It's not like EA UFC's submission system. It's Like EA MMA's. And it's a little slow but it's competitive. Imo it's better than button mashing but I understand some of you don't like it. The rest holds were awesome and it was pretty much just chain wrestling but mid match to collect yourself.

"he was at the gamestop expo on Sept. 2nd and said that all moves pre 2k15 were reanimated/revamped. He also said that tag ai worked like it was supposed to and here's some more notes he posted on the 2k forums"
